This decision provides a Corporate Tax exemption for certain foreign-incorporated taxable persons. To qualify, an entity established under foreign legislation must be wholly owned and controlled by an Exempt Person as defined in Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022 (e.g., Government Entities, Public Benefit Entities). Furthermore, the entity's activities must be limited to either undertaking part or whole of the Exempt Person's activity, exclusively holding assets or investing funds for the Exempt Person's benefit, or carrying out activities that are purely ancillary to those of the Exempt Person. This decision is effective from June 1, 2023.
